Seymour Group was established in 1976 by Kevin and Kay Seymour. Kevin Seymour remains the chairman of the company which built its reputation on loyalty, experience, stability, integrity and professionalism. Today, the company has an annual turnover in excess of $300 million.

The company owns the Great Sandy Straits Marina and Tourist Terminal at Urangan Harbour in Hervey Bay. Seymour Group also has other holdings in Hervey Bay and Tin Can Bay.
