Seymour Group is one of Queensland's largest privately owned development and investment companies. The company develops and owns prestigious residential, commercial and retail projects along the Queensland coast. The company currently has holdings between Brisbane and the Whitsundays.

Seymour Group was established in 1976 by Kevin and Kay Seymour. Kevin Seymour remains the chairman of the company, which built its reputation on loyalty, experience, stability, integrity and professionalism. Today, the company has an annual turnover in excess of $300 million.

The company owns the Great Sandy Straits Marina and Tourist Terminal at Urangan Harbour in Hervey Bay. Seymour Group also has other holdings in Hervey Bay and Tin Can Bay.

Together with their joint venture partner Watpac Ltd, Seymour Group also has been selected as the preferred proponent to undertake a major expansion of the Urangan Boat Harbour.
