Welcome to the Community Consultation Update section of the Fraser Straits Marina website.

In latest developments:

The public submission period for the Preliminary Documentation (under the EPBC Act) for the proposed Fraser Straits Marina, has now closed.

The submissions received during the public comment period have now been collated and information gathered to address the issues raised.

A report detailing the comments received and presenting submission responses is currently being prepared and will be submitted to the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Community (SEWPC) - formerly the Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts (DEWHA) and placed on public display.

The Department will then proceed with its decision.
